This article contains information on Downloadable content for Dragon Age: Origins. Some downloadable content can be purchased within the game with BioWare points, through the Xbox Marketplace, or through the PlayStation Store, while others were pre-order promotional items and can no longer be obtained. Several of the promotional items are now available for anyone with a BioWare Social Network account. See here for more information.

BioWare originally announced during the final stages of the development of Dragon Age: Origins that two years' worth of downloadable content were planned for release. The planned DLC would include items such as rings and amulets, short adventures like Warden's Keep and full expansion packs with dozens of hours of new gameplay. With the earlier than expected arrival of Dragon Age II, Witch Hunt was confirmed to be the last DLC release for Dragon Age: Origins.

A Tale of Orzammar is a downloadable content that serves as a prologue to the Dwarf Noble Origin. It explores the actions of a dwarven nobleman who has contracted a mercenary to retrieve a valuable artifact from a ruined thaig within the Deep Roads.

Embri's Many Pockets can be downloaded for free in-game by players who have completed Chapter 1 of Dragon Age Journeys. It can also be unlocked for free by anyone with a Bioware Social Network account.

In March 2016, as part of a Twitter campaign, an 8-minute anime video was released appearing to depict events shortly prior to those in the game.[5] An English dubbed version of the video was shown at Anime Expo in early July 2016[6] before being uploaded to official YouTube channels on August 25. Since the events in the game conflict with those shown in this animated prologue (i.e., the reason for Wright's trip to Khura'in), its canonicity is unclear.

In Japan, a 3DS theme based on Spirit of Justice was made available alongside the game's release. Three Japan-exclusive downloadable costumes were also made available from June 23, 2016; these costumes are based on characters from Sengoku BASARA, another Capcom franchise, with Phoenix Wright's costume being based on Masamune Date/Azure Dragon, Apollo Justice's on Yukimura Sanada/Scorpio, and Athena Cykes's on Sengoku Basara 3's Ieyasu Tokugawa/Irdene. Moreover, the Special Episode "Turnabout Time Traveller" was released on June 30, 2016; the case was offered free of charge between June 30 and July 20, and then become paid DLC afterwards.

For the English release, the first set of costumes for Wright, Justice, and Cykes were offered as free downloadable content in the first week of release (from September 8th until September 15th, 2016). Additionally, the two Ace Attorney Theater episodes and the full episode Turnabout Time Traveler were offered as paid content, and were released each Thursday following the release of the game. The Ace Attorney Theater episodes each cost $3.99 and came with a 3DS theme, while Turnabout Time Traveler was released for $5.99.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is a Star Wars video game that takes place between the films Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. Being the centerpiece of the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed multimedia project, the game was released on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii as well as the PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, Nintendo DS and the iPhone. Thus, LucasArts worked in conjunction with Industrial Light & Magic, Pixelux Entertainment, and NaturalMotion to create a next-gen Star Wars experience. The game showcases Digital Molecular Matter (DMM), an extremely detailed and realistic material physics engine developed by Pixelux, and euphoria, a realistic bio-mechanical A.I. engine by NaturalMotion. The Force Unleashed was originally slated for release in November 2007 but was delayed to the spring of 2008 and later delayed again to that summer. The final version of the game was released on September 16, 2008. A demo was made available on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network for download on August 21, 2008. New DLC was announced at Comic-Con International 2009, with the DLC released on Xbox Live Marketplace on August 28, 2009.[12][13]

At the 2009 San Diego Comic-Con, LucasArts announced an Ultimate Sith Edition expansion for The Force Unleashed, available only to the 360, PS3, PC, and Mac platforms. It includes all of the missions from the original game, plus three bonus missions. Of those three missions, all can be downloaded to the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the original game.[16] 041b061a72
